He graduated from the University of Colorado School of Medicine in 1991 and spent a year at St. Joseph Hospital in Denver practicing internal medicine before he decided to specialize in Ophthalmology.

Dr. Jamell is also Board Certified. He is currently a clinical instructor of Ophthalmology at the University of Colorado.

Ophthalmology Qualifications

Do you know what kind of training an ophthalmologist has to have? Four years of undergraduate education, four years of medical school, one year of general internship, and three years of specialized eye care.

Dr. Kelmenson and Dr. Jamell have both completed a minimum of twelve years of education to qualify them as ophthalmologists.
